What age can kids start boxing classes at MBS Fitness in Hobart?

Kids can start boxing at MBS Fitness from 6 years old. Our kids’ classes (ages 6–10) focus on fun, fitness, discipline, and building confidence in a safe, supportive environment.

Is boxing safe for children?

Yes. Kids boxing at MBS Fitness is non-contact and beginner-friendly. We focus on technique, fitness, and coordination — using gloves, pads, and bags instead of sparring — ensuring children train safely while staying active.

What should my child bring to their first kids boxing class?

Children should wear comfortable sports clothes, bring a water bottle, and, if possible, their own gloves. If they don’t have gloves yet, we can provide a pair to use during their first sessions.
