The Journey of MBS Fitness

MBS Fitness began with a simple idea: helping people find strength, confidence, and community through boxing and fitness.

Challenges

Like many of our members, I (Kirill) once felt stuck. With a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and a Master of Finance, my career looked successful on paper, yet it left me unfulfilled.

My athletic roots — as a track-and-field triple jumper and title-winning amateur boxer (Brisbane Corporate Boxing Champion, Australian Club Championship gold) — and my Certificates III & IV in Fitness pulled me back to what mattered.

Moving to Hobart and returning to boxing at Bridgewater PCYC reminded me that real purpose comes from focused effort, respect, and the discipline to face challenges head-on. Sport, especially boxing, teaches that victory isn’t one big win but the daily decision to keep moving, learning, and helping others do the same.

Mission

MBS Fitness exists to guide everyday Tasmanians toward stronger bodies, clearer minds, and resilient spirits—no matter age, ability, or background.

After years in hospitality, disability support, and sport, I saw how tailored movement can lift confidence, health, and quality of life for everyone—including NDIS participants and families.
